ML00377 - Beryl var. Aquamarine
Minas Gerais, Brazil
cabinet - 9.6 x 1.6 x 1.3 cm
$ 425.00

This etched beryl specimen is totally transparent. The pale color is slightly yellowish-green, and a case could be made to call this heliodor rather than aquamarine. It has good lustrous pinacoid termination on one end, and etched pinacoid on the other.

ML00382 - Beryl var. Aquamarine
Shigar Valley, Gilgit Division, Pakistan
cabinet - 11.5 x 1.3 x 1.1 cm
$ 2500.00

This aquamarine crystal is exceptional due to the length to diameter ratio. The c-axis is exceptionally long compared to the other axes. It has fantastic transparency. About 2cm from the top there are negative crystals formed from fluid inclusions, which at first glance appear to be damage, but are actually interesting crystal forms.
