DZ1409 - Acanthite with Chalcopyrite
Las Chispas Mine, Arizpe, Arizpe Municipality, Sonora, Mexico
thumbnail - 2.3 x 0.9 x 0.7
$ 250.00

A well formed, hoppered single crystal of acanthite from one of the most famous mines in Northern Mexico. The label lists the specimen as a polybasite from Moctezuma, but that is an obvious error. I especially like the historic pricetag of $4.00 which was the sale price in 1937.
