Eagles Nest Mine, Placer County, California, USA
miniature - 3.2 x 3.1 x 2.2 cm
$ 1500.00

A bright yellow crystalline leaf typical of one of California’s best specimen gold producers. While golds from this locality usually need to be etched from their host quartz veins, this specimen exhibits no evidence of such a treatment, and therefore likely grew at least partially into open space. ⁣⁣
