Lustrous brown vanadinite averaging 1cm with a thin coating of descloizite on the pinacoid surface, and occasionally on the prism faces.

A nice spray of elongate hexagonal calcite prisms from the classic English locality at Bigrig. Excellent condition with only one damaged crystal at the back which easily could (and should) be removed.

This pyrite group has a heavy coating of chalcocite up to 1mm thick. Its possible that its actually pseudomorphing (epimorph) the pyrite.

DZXX09 - Copper

Crystallized copper has long been known from the Ray Mine. However, only a few select pieces of exceptionally large spinel twins have been found. The very best of these have been tied up in Arizona collections since discovery.

DZXX07 - Copper

This arborescent copper specimen is like a minirature cubic copper tree. The crystals are amazlingly sharp, usually as flattened cubes up to 1cm on edge. A must have specimen for anyone specilizing in copper, and especially Michigan copper.

DZXX04 - Siderite and Dolomite
Morro Velho Mine, Nova Lime, Minas Gerais, Brazil

This is a very interesting piece with both iron carbonate and magnesium carbonate species intergrown on the same specimen. To confuse matters more, additional iron species as pyrrhotite is selectively included in and on the surface of the dolomite crystals.
