$ 100.00 DISCOUNTED 30.00% OFF TO $ 70.00

Normally I don't get to excited about an apophyllite from India, however this piece must have been one of the earlier specimens to reach the US market. It was at one time sold by Schortmann's, has been in the Karabachic Collection, and also the Art Montgomergy Collection.

miniature - 4.0 x 2.3 x 1.0 cm
$ 600.00 DISCOUNTED 30.00% OFF TO $ 420.00

Silvers from Batopilas are frequently very thin. This piece is unusual in that is has thicker crystals and better 3D growth. The herringbone textures are well developed, showing great twinning.

DZ1909 - Bournonite
Viboras Mine, Potosi Dept., Bolivia
miniature - 4.8 x 3.1 x 2.9 cm
$ 500.00 DISCOUNTED 30.00% OFF TO $ 350.00

Classic cogwheel twinning. The bottom surface looks a little rough, but on close inspection it is terminated all the way through. The rough texture is likely due to growth inhibition from the pyrite matrix.

DZ1912 - Arsenopyrite on Quartz with Muscovite
Panasqueira Mine, Barroca Grande, Beira Baxia, Portugal
small cabinet - 8.6 x 5.5 x 5.4 cm
$ 750.00

After all these years of collecting, Panasqueira is still one of my favorite localities. This specimen has a single euhedral quartz crystal with an unusual and appealing luster on the pyramidal faces. The back half of the quartz crystal is draped in small muscovite books. Several large arsenpyrite crystals eminate from within the quartz to form a crown on the top.

Marawitza, Hungary
small cabinet - 6.8 x 5.4 x 3.6 cm
$ 75.00 DISCOUNTED 30.00% OFF TO $ 52.50

Here is a great specimen for the geologist who loves skarn deposits. A matrix of what looks to be tremolite is rimmed by lustrous almandine garnets with a small calcite fro contrast. The only drawback being the saw cut surface on the left side of the specimen.
