ML00087 - Sphalerite & Siderite epimorph after Calcite

Epimorphs like this are some of the most unusual I've ever seen. The cast is formed by a mix of sphalerite and siderite, while the original calcite crystal is completely etched away.

Aquamarines from Pakistan are quite common these days. What sets this apart is the well formed, thick muscovite books which resemble rosettes.
