The Eureka district produced fine pyrargyrite specimens at the turn of the last century, however very few of them made into collections. Material from the mine is exceedingly rare.

Gold and Acanthite in a quartz vein. Sawn on both sides, and lightly polished on one surface. This rock was mined in the 1930's and purchased from the mine owners family.

Tsumeb Mine, Tsumeb, Namibia

A very sharp specimen of Malachite after Azurite form Tsumeb. What makes this really special is that it is from the Roebling collection at the Smithsonian. Before that, it was part of the Kegel collection, who was the mine manager of the Tsumeb mine.
