DZ5404 - Sphalerite on Dolomite with Chalcopyrite
Joplin, Missouri, USA
miniature - 4.2 x 3.0 x 2.9 cm
$ 50.00 SOLD

Here is a classic from the Tri-State District. This specimen came out at a time when isolated sphalerite crystals were thought to be wurtzite. Its a shame its only sphalerite, because if the old label were correct, it would be worth much more.
