Bournonites from the Liskeard District used to be considered the finest known, however the Yaogangxiang Mine has redefined the standard of excellence. That said, pieces from Liskeard are still iconic, and this is a very fine example showing classically twinned crystals standing upright on quartz matrix.

Here we have a fine example of epidote from the famous Green Monster Prospect on Prince of Wales Island in Alaska. The epidotes have great luster, sharp crystals, and two of them are doubly terminated. The quartz crystals are in great condition too.
