This lustrous blue azurite has labels naming Berg Aukas as the locality, however I am inclined to say it is more likely from Tsumeb. Some of the thinner crystals are extremely translucent.

Numerous small skarn deposits are known in southern Peru. Many of them are unimpressive but a few have quite interesting geology. This axinite specimen came from a small lot of minerals that was purchased in Lima nearly 20 years ago.
